Bibliomania

My office is right next door to the library on campus. In the maintenance closet, there is a delightful bin labeled "Discard," out of the depths of which I have fished my fair share of treasure. I have two stacks of books in my room as tall as my kneecaps. My hands curl with pleasure, my fingers flex gleefully, at the idea of a book in them. I often feel like I'd like to eat them. Gobble them all up. But I'd rather not tread the waters of bibliophagy. Besides, they're too pretty.

If I had neither morals nor money, my profession would most assuredly be "Book Thief."
