What Grows Not, Dies

“The more I read, the more I acquire, the more certain I am that I know nothing.”
~ Voltaire

I'm considering going back to school, though I haven't for the life of me been able to come up with one reason why I should. Financially and timing wise it doesn't make sense. But I always loved school and while I was in it, I thrived.

At my current job, I sit in on whatever classes I can, though most times I'm unable. I catch the beginning and the tail end of most lectures, and it only serves to make me hungry.

I'm hungry to learn. Maybe that's why after college, so many people seem to dull and dry up.

Then, the questions arise. What would I major in? Would I ever use the extra education? Where do I find the money or the time?

But people go back to school every day, don't they?

In the meantime, I suppose, I can take a few online courses for free and ponder the possibilities. Maybe I'll structure my own class curriculum and invent a certification program for myself?

Hmm... now there's a thought.
