Following

"Faith without works is dead."

Prayer is not a replacement for action...it is a supplement to it.  I am a poor player indeed if I preach but do not act.

I have huge respect for the people who walk-the-walk so earnestly that they have little need to talk-the-talk. Real faith is about example, not explanation. Jesus already talked. For the most part, it's our turn to walk.

And what is the walk? What is the work? What is the action?

Not listening to an unbroken stream of Hillsong, attending church retreats, reading "Devo's" every day, not swearing, not drinking, not whatever-ing.

The walk, my friends, is kindness. Not judgement. Truth. Not passive acquiescence.

That's actual Jesus-following.
